The Standing Committee is a preliminary examination agency of the council. It examines various bills, such as ordinance bills, etc. under the jurisdiction of the corresponding standing committee, as well as petitions, receives reports on the offices and divisions under its jurisdiction, receives inquiries and provides answers, and conducts affairs such as inspecting and investigating administrative affairs.
